Q: What services do you offer?
Q: Which areas do you cover?
I provide group and solo dog walks, puppy visits, cat care, and small animal care. Walks can be tailored to your dog’s needs, whether they prefer a sociable group or a one-on-one adventure.
Based in Drayton, I also cover nearby villages. If you’re unsure, just ask!
Q: How long are the walks?
Walks are 30 minutes or 1 Hour depending on your dogs needs and the availability that I have.

Booking & Payments
Q: How do I book a walk?
You can book through my Contact Form, Direct email or the HeerysHounds Social medias.
Q: Do I need to book in advance?
Yes - atleast 1 week ahead is best. I may be able to fit last minute requests if my schedule allows.
Safety & Trust
Q: Are you insured and DBS checked?
Yes! Fully insured and DBS checked, giving you peace of mind that your pets are in safe hands.
Q: Will my dog be walked off-lead?
Only if you’ve given written permission and I feel confident that your dog has reliable recall in a safe environment. Otherwise, all dogs are kept onlead.
Q: How many dogs do you walk at once?
For group walks, I usually walk 4/5 dogs at a time to ensure safety and proper supervision but the HeerysHounds dogs are absolutely fab so i'm insured to take up to 6 . Solo walks are available for dogs who prefer one-on-one attention.
During the Walk
Q: Will my dog get the full time outside?
Yes! Walk times begin once we leave the car. Collection and drop-off are not included in the walking time.
Q: Do you send updates?
Absolutely - I’ll send photo or text updates so you can see how much fun your pet is having.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
Walks go ahead in most weather conditions (dogs love a bit of mud!). In extreme heat, I’ll adjust with shorter walks, shaded routes/river walks, or home visits to keep your dog safe. In wet/colder conditions I ask if you can leave your dogs coat and a towel visible.
